Don't let your visitors go away from your site following the external links that you have into your own content. MLinks takes advantage of the power of Mootools already available in you Joomla!™ 1.5.x instalation and enables you to define links that will open in a Modal DHTML popup.

You can see the results of using this great plugin in our demo site, where you can find the same links available in the demo content of Joomla! 1.5 and an image linked using MLinks to obtain this amazing effect.

• Ensure that the plugin is installed and published. 
• Call the pugin with the following sintax: {mlink=http://desired_url}Linked Text{/mlink}
• Linking images to open an external site, we higly advice to edit the source HTML code to insert the plugin call like: {mlink=http://desired_url}<img src="" />{/mlink}

Although the plugin is pre-configured with the best settings for the most of the cases, you can set the top and bottom margins (50px by default), and the left and right margins (70 px by default). If you want to customize this configuration, simply enter the desired values in the plugin's configuration in Joomla!'s backend. 

• Only for Joomla! 1.5
• Works with most of the browsers.
• If JavaScript is disabled in your visitor's browser, then regular links with target="_blank" will be used.
• SEF - Search engines will detect the linked URL.

Known issues: Since mootools (used by Joomla!) and JQuery (used by other 3rd. party extensions) have incompatibilities it could happen that some functionalities stop working. For Ajax Vote Plug-in we have a fix in the download area and is freely available for MLinks' buyers
